Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy backend services and APIs for high-volume payment workflows.
- Optimize system performance, security, and resilience in distributed environments.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to deliver features end-to-end.
- Contribute to architecture decisions, coding standards, and best engineering practices.
- Integrate with third-party providers, banking rails, and internal platforms.
- Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvements.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of software engineering experience in fintech, payments, or SaaS.
- Strong knowledge of modern backend languages (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Go, Node.js, or similar).
- Experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, and REST/gRPC APIs.
- Practical understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards (PCI DSS, GDPR) is a plus.
